Located just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, the cabin is situated on more than three very private and serene acres.  The front 'yard' is the Ivy River, a great swimming hole and home to wildlife such as heron, beaver, river otter, and soft shell turtle.  The forest is a naturalist's dream with pitcher plant, trillium, hepatica, and pipsissewa to name only a few!  Across the river is a rock cliff which is home to rhododendron and mountain laurel.  And the night sky lights up with stars as there is no light pollution!

Sitting on the bend of the river, Rocky River Cabin is cozy and private with no viewable neighbors.  Get warm in front of the woodstove, or listen to the music of the river from the deck or interior.  There is even a sandy beach area by the water which will delight younger visitors!
